We present not only a home, but a legacy of time and value to be passed on.

The 36-tatami living room is filled with natural light from the atrium, and the spacious deck overlooks a green lawn that also serves as a dog run.
A guest room is provided to warmly welcome visitors.
With a whole-house air conditioning and heating system, along with a fireplace, the home offers year-round comfort.

Making full use of the site’s unique configuration, this residence stretches across an elongated plot approximately 110 meters in length. Five parallel block walls are carefully positioned to control sightlines and natural light. Between these walls, bedrooms, bathrooms, living spaces, and more are interspersed, allowing each area to offer a distinct view and a shifting gradation of light.
The walls themselves are constructed with CO₂-SUICOM®, a special material that absorbs and fixes carbon dioxide. This makes the property not only an environmentally conscious design but also an architectural statement with the presence of a sculptural artwork.
More than a simple “villa,” this is an immersive spatial experience imbued with the philosophy of nendo. It is a one-of-a-kind residence that we are proud to present to those with a deep appreciation for architecture and design.
Located in the eastern part of Nagano Prefecture, Karuizawa is widely known as one of Japan’s premier villa and resort areas.
Situated at an elevation of approximately 1,000 meters, it is cherished as a cool summer retreat and in winter offers an environment where visitors can enjoy winter sports and the serene beauty of nature. Loved for generations by both Japanese and international cultural figures, Karuizawa is often referred to as the birthplace of Japan’s villa culture, and continues to attract people from around the world.
The town is home to scenic views of Mt. Asama, the historic Kyu-Karuizawa Ginza shopping street, as well as golf courses, museums, and other cultural facilities, providing visitors with experiences beyond the everyday. Another key attraction is accessibility—just about one hour by Shinkansen from Tokyo—making Karuizawa a rare area where one can enjoy both natural beauty and urban convenience.
Real estate in Karuizawa is highly valued not only for residential and villa use but also as a long-term asset. With its rich natural environment, tranquil townscape, and excellent access, Karuizawa continues to be chosen as a stage for asset building that can be passed on to future generations.
